“Worship One, Serve One” is all about being engaged in one service a Sunday, and then serving in one ministry a week. That may mean worshipping at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning, and serving at 10:30 a.m.. Or maybe you worship Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. and serve on Wednesday night. Or maybe you have another combination. Are you already doing this? That is great! You may now proceed to another web page. However, if you are not, please keep reading.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Beads of Hope bracelets
Marcia Geurink, our missionary in Tijuana has been involved in teaching women how to make bracelets to earn needed income for their families. Calvary has given some seed money to get this cottage industry started. Some of the girls that are making the bracelets are from a squatter community near the dump and are required to be enrolled in school and to use the money for schooling.
Marcia will be at Calvary on August 22 and will have the bracelets available for sale in the lobby.  Please consider buying these which will directly help these women in Tijuana.

Loving People Toward God

Calvary Church exists to carry on Jesus’ mission of loving people toward God. We take Jesus’ challenge to move out of our comfortable circles and into a needy world very seriously. We refuse to settle on being a religious club. Instead, we insist on becoming a mission to our local neighbors and our global neighbors. -DISCOVER MORE-
