Calvary's Praise Choir is a large group of singers who share their gifts by leading the congregation in dynamic musical worship. They typically meet for three rehearsals before each of the six scheduled services for which they perform. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons. All interested singers high school age and above are invited to join us—no audition necessary.

These small groups of dedicated musicians rehearse for and lead the musical parts of our worship gatherings on Sunday mornings and evenings. Additional teams are being formed to lead in other ministries and at other times throughout the week. Open auditions for these teams are held twice a year in August and January.

Interested instrumentalists can volunteer to play with our ad hoc large ensembles, which are assembled several times throughout the year. No audition is necessary; players with at least two years of experience on their instrument are invited to participate. There are also opportunities for capable players to perform solos or accompany one of our regular Praise Bands.

A team of servant actors who prepare drama sketches intended to deepen our worship experience, or add a special touch to other gatherings. Those with dramatic and communication gifts have an opportunity to share them with the congregation.

Teams of servants in various technical areas who assist in making the worship service and other presentations excellent. Their duties include setting up, running AV equipment, recording services, creating presentations, and supporting the drama and music teams. We welcome volunteers who have experience in these areas, but training is also available.

A team of artistic servants who desire to use their creative gifts to honor God by enhancing the environment of the worship center, cafe, and lobby as well as other special events. Our designs use banners, colors, plants, lighting, special set pieces, and original art works.

This team provides an opportunity to explore celebrative movement as part of our praise expression to God. Liturgical and celebrative dance as well as other forms of movement are all a part of our vision.
