Sometimes, the demands of everyday life keep us from tending to the inner life. Sometimes, we severely under-value the importance of our interior world. But the rock solid truth is this: our soul's health drives everything that matters to us. It is foundational to who you are. In the end, everything about your life, your person-hood, is in some way a function of your soul. The health of your soul matters! Calvary Church is inviting you to “go off the grid” for a 30 hour retreat to attend to your soul by intentionally connecting it to GOD.

Jesus wanted his would be disciples to know exactly how he wanted them to life.  And so early in his ministry he delivered his most famous message, the “Sermon on the Mount.”  It was his description of the radically different attitudes and actions that he wanted to characterize each follower of his.  When Christians decide to live shaped by this sermon on the mount, they will stick out in the crowd. Week after week the values and attitudes we inherited from our culture will be challenged, and we’ll be called by Jesus to another way of doing life.

prayers for Haiti

We are so grateful for the generous outpouring of the Calvary community. Over $81,000 was given to save lives and provide relief for our brothers and sisters suffering in Haiti.  The money was distributed to our following partner organizations in Haiti: CRWRC, GLOW Ministries, World Harvest Orphanage and Faith in Action.

"...for whatever you give to the least of these you give to me." Jesus.
